Post a single image Fragment

You can use the mobile interface to post an image as a Fragment — a quiet gesture of presence.
Why this matters
FragmentPractice encourages stillness within flow.
Taking a single photo is not about memory, but attunement.
A way to let one moment speak — without documenting everything.
This act of intentional noticing can re-tune your pace,
offering structure through quiet ritual.
How to do it
- Open the FragmentPractice mobile UI
- Tap the camera icon
- Take a single photo that resonates with your current rhythm
- Add an optional caption or tag — such as:
#light.trace
・#quiet.presence
・#body.rhythm
- Save it as a Fragment — ephemeral by default unless explicitly saved
Example use
- A shard of sunlight across your notebook
- The way a plant bends toward the window
- Your reflection on a train door
These are not “memories” — they are fragments of symbolic time.
Tips
- One image per moment creates a rhythm of restraint
- You can later incorporate image Fragments into a ZINE
- Try adding a short poetic caption as a second layer
- Let the image remain unnamed, if it feels complete as it is
Optional Extensions
- Use tags to organize visual Fragments (
#visual.syntax
,#ephemeral.gesture
) - Pair images with Bot dialogue — ask: “Can you mirror this image in words?”
- Collect 3–5 images over a week to form a silent ZINE of rhythm
“A photo is also a Fragment.”
One image, seen fully, can hold more than an entire archive.
